I Don’t Want It No More

Spent 2 weeks reading every review,
of every flask on the store.
2 weeks on and I’ve filled it up once,
I’ve forgotten what I wanted it for.

Every time I get something new
The switch in my head gets reset
And I’m off to embark on the next crazy fad
Researching the things that I haven’t got yet

I’m not saying I’m ungrateful, for the things I’ve paid/saved for…
But when I get what I want I don’t want it no more.

I research almost every day,
My next and final guitar.
When I get it home I put it up on the wall
And I wonder how much Teles go for?

I sometimes wish that I could say,
that possessions mean nothing to me.
But the truth is I love getting more stuff,
maybe it’s just how I’m programmed to be.

I’m not saying I’m a hoarder, but I could open a department store…
Cos when I get what I want, I don’t want it no more.
