Surfing is way too hard, another dream has died.
I should’ve known I’d really suck at this long before I tried.
Still, at least I’m over 40 now and wearing wet suits is not dignified.

I’ll never need a hair salon or get my locks blow dried.
Still, at least with my bald head and beard I fit in down at the ‘bo-ho’ toast bar.

It took about ten minutes to clear up the floor.
I started straight after you stormed out the door,
And now I think that you think I’ve become a bore.
And it’s clear that it’s not working any more.
I’m tired of being jealous,
Of you talking to other fellas.
Now I can see you weren’t all that.
I’m tired of hoping you’ll call,
I’d rather poke a sharp stick in my eyeball,
Than hang around waiting for you on the doormat.
It took about ten seconds for you to move on,
I’d hardly took off my coat and you were gone.
And I know that I was angry for a while,
but now I’m not feeling so hostile.
I’m tired of feeling jealous,
Of you hanging with other fellas,
